Lori Graham, a New River Valley native, has deep roots in the local community. For more than 20 years, she has supported people with disabilities through her work with Montgomery County Public Schools, Radford University, and Virginia Tech. She earned a bachelor’s degree in American Sign Language from Siena Heights University in Michigan and a master’s degree in English, along with a certificate in Appalachian Studies, from Radford University, where she also taught first-year composition and professional writing.
Lori’s lifelong commitment to serving others and her strong ties to the New River Valley made Northpoint Insurance Advisors a natural fit. Throughout her career, she has helped people navigate challenges, understand complex information, and make informed decisions, which are skills she now brings to our team. Lori takes pride in building relationships, listening carefully to clients’ needs, and helping local families protect what matters most with confidence.
Personally, Lori loves a good story, inspired in part by her grandfather’s tales of coal mining, hunting, and agricultural life in Montgomery County, Virginia. In her free time, she enjoys writing and helping other authors edit and prepare their work for publication. On weekends, she enjoys kayaking local rivers and lakes with her husband, Joe, and spending time with friends in Floyd while listening to Appalachian music. She has two grown children, Alexandra and Daniel, along with many pet, which include a fainting goat named Jack.
