At Northpoint Insurance Advisors, we believe great service starts with great people. That’s why we are thrilled to celebrate Ann Marie on being recognized as one of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce’s Top Forty Under 40 recipients.
For anyone who has had the opportunity to work with Ann Marie, this recognition comes as no surprise.
A native of Christiansburg, Ann Marie joined the Northpoint team in March 2023 and quickly became a valued member of our agency. With a background in childcare, customer service, and a degree in Business from New River Community College, she brings a unique blend of professionalism, compassion, and positivity to every interaction.
As one of the first voices clients hear when they call our office, Ann Marie has a gift for making people feel welcomed, supported, and understood. Whether she is helping a client navigate insurance questions or assisting a teammate, her calm presence and genuine desire to help others shine through.
A Recognition Years in the Making
Still, when she learned she had been selected as a Top Forty Under 40 recipient, her initial reaction was disbelief.
“I was shocked when I received the email that I had been nominated, let alone selected,” Ann Marie shared. “At 24 years old and only having been with Northpoint for two years, I initially felt small and wondered if I had accomplished enough compared to the other nominees.”
As she reflected on her journey, however, she realized just how much she had achieved in a relatively short time.
Over the last four years, Ann Marie has graduated from community college, earned two insurance licenses, gained valuable workforce experience, and invested in her professional growth through industry trainings and conferences.
“When I sat down and really reflected on everything I’ve achieved, I realized how proud I truly am of myself,” she said. “This award is a reflection of the hard work, determination, and grit that were instilled in me by my parents and grandmothers.”

That gratitude and humility are part of what make Ann Marie such a special member of our team.
A Legacy of Service
Just as important as her professional accomplishments is her commitment to serving others.
One of her favorite volunteer opportunities is working with Feeding Southwest Virginia, an experience that connects her to childhood memories of serving families alongside her father through their church food bank.
“I’ve inherited a servant’s heart from my family,” Ann Marie shared. “Giving back through organizations like Feeding Southwest Virginia is one of the many ways I can support people in our community.”

She also enjoys volunteering alongside the Northpoint team selling 50/50 football tickets, an opportunity that allows her to support her alma mater, Christiansburg High School, while spending time with her dad.
Those experiences reflect a value that runs deep at Northpoint: being actively engaged in the communities we call home.
When we think about what this recognition represents, we see much more than a list of accomplishments. We see a young leader who leads with kindness, serves with humility, and approaches every opportunity with enthusiasm and determination.
Ann Marie, we are incredibly proud of you and grateful for the care, energy, and heart you bring to our clients, our team, and our community every day. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!
